In Hector’s Flight to Friendship, Judy Layne tells an endearing story about Hector Hummingbird, who learns the importance of friendship during an unexpected journey traveling with a family of Canadian geese.
Judy lives in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mountains with her geese, chickens, ducks, sheep, goat, dogs, and one cat. Her love of animals served as an inspiration for Hector's Flight to Friendship.
